Southern Councils Group The Southern Councils Group is a voluntary association of seven Local Government Authorities including Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama, Shoalhaven, and Wingecarribee, all located within the Illawarra region of NSW, and Eurobodalla and Bega Valley, new members immediately to the south of the Shoalhaven in the South East region of NSW. The aim of the group is to promote and foster the ecologically sustainable development of the region of building on its unique and diverse economic natural and cultural heritage through Member Council cooperation. Illawarra Business Chamber
Businesses use the Illawarra Business Chamber (IBC) to access people,
information and advice to help them make sound business decisions and stay
competitive. IBC is affiliated with Australian Business Limited (ABL),
Australia’s leading business organisation. With the support ABL, IBC is
able to deliver an unparalleled range of business support products and
services.
South East Australian Transport Strategy Inc (SEATS) The South East Australian Transport Strategy Inc (SEATS) aims to stimulate and facilitate investment in transport and infrastructure in south eastern NSW, eastern Victoria and the ACT region. Members of SEATS include local government, regional development organisations, government agencies, regional industry and academics. SEATS provides highly coordinated and influential advocacy for the development of transport infrastructure in the South East Australian region that supports sustainable economic development and the prosperity of its constituents.
NSW Road Transport AssociationThe NSW Road Transport Association was originally founded as the Master Carriers Association of NSW in 1890 and has been providing assistance, information, advice and a forum for road transport operators in NSW since that time. The Association has become the voice of the road transport industry and is the uniting force for its members and the key driver of positive action to help them on the road to success. The Association’s objectives are to meet the critical needs of their members through:
TTF Australia TTF Australia is the national peak advocacy body for the tourism, transport and infrastructure sectors. As a CEO forum representing the business interests of 200 leading Australian companies, TTF uses its experience and networks to achieve appropriate policy outcomes and to support the delivery of major infrastructure projects. TTF Australia’s members' interests span tourism, transport, investment, property development, leisure, retail, hospitality, education, technology and major events. Like its Members, TTF recognises that Australia’s success as a nation depends on strong growth and sustainable investment in both urban and regional infrastructure. The networks TTF foster provide crucial platforms for change. Since 1989, the small group of professionals at TTF Australia has worked to provide Members with access to politicians and other key decision makers, with the influence and facilitation skills to ensure Members’ interests are heard and acted upon.
